Spawtique Mobile Pet Grooming is now offering dog daycare and overnights to our beloved four-legged friends. Owner Suzy Korn is a Registered Veterinary Technician and certified dog groomer who has been working with animals for over 15 years. We live north county San Diego, about 6 miles from the coast. Our ranch is fully fenced and over 1/2 acre, complete with goats, coco the pony,chickens, bunnies and our resident boston terriers. Your dog will spend his or her day running around and living the farm experience, and evenings, relaxing in our air conditioned home, complete with a full security system. This is a true home away from home and more! If you choose, your dog can receive a full bath or groom by one of our certified groomers using all natural and biodegradeable shampoos. We also offer nail trims and ear cleans. Your dog must be on a flea control or we will require a bath and flea/tick check before coming into our home. We require that your dog be kid-friendly as we have three young children who love dogs as much as we do and will be showering (when appropriate) your pup with well-supervised hugs and kisses, yet you can be assured that your dog will get the space it needs... whether from our resident dogs or resident children. Your dog will be a part of will be a part of our ranch and family routine, from chasing the kids around the house in the morning to running out to help feed the goats and chickens.. to watering our garden. Your dog will have access to fresh alkaline water all day. All dogs will be separated for feeding time. Your dog will have down time, out of the sun, and will be required to take breaks if running around too much (to prevent overheating). I do have obligations outside of the home for short periods, such as picking up the children from school or a few hours of dog grooming outside clients in my mobile unit. During this time, your pup will be relaxing safely indoors in our spawtique office, with cool tile floors, and the option of a dog bed or kennel. They will also sleep there in the evening with our two boston terriers. Suzy has many, many years of animal behavior experience from a Bachelor's degree in biology and animal science, working as a registered veterinary technician with large and small animals, a dog trainer for service dogs, kennel assistant and as a certified dog groomer. We will evaluate your dog before booking to make sure it is a good fit for our home ranch experience. At our ranch, your dog will be a part of our very experienced and knowledgeable animal loving family.
