Tamara provided last-minute care for a dog I was looking after when my original plans fell through. I also provide petcare services, and I had a dog staying with me for several weeks. I had plans to be away for the Canada Day long weekend, but the alternate care I had arranged for the pet fell through at the last minute! I called all the local pet-care service providers but, of course, everyone was chock-a-block booked up! I found Tamara on Dogvacay and she came to my home to meet me and the dog in my care that same day. She stayed for well over an hour to try and get acquainted with the dog, who is very timid with strangers. I could tell right away that Tamara is very kind and a true animal-lover. The following day, Tamara came and picked me and the dog up and took us to her home, where I stayed for a while to settle the dog in to the new environment. I was a little worried leaving her in a strange new place, as she is very anxious with new people and places, but Tamara sent me daily updates and photos over the long weekend, and I could see that she was being well-cared for and was feeling comfortable. I would not hesitate to use Tamara again as a back-up for my services or to recommend her to pet-owners for their pet-care needs.

Our dog Prissy stayed with Tamara and her family for 4 days. Prissy loved it!! She went for multiple daily walks and enjoyed the company of Tamara's dog ,"Boots".We were sent photo's and videos of Prissy relaxing in the sun and playing with a toy ( she never does that at home)Prissy had a fabulous vacation..
