I absolutely love being around dogs and my dog is what really makes my home feel like home. I share my home with my fur child, Nico, who is a 10 year old, 35 lb beagle mix who acts like a grandpa but still has some of that puppy energy. He loves having dog friends to share toys and wisdom. Nico and I also enjoy lots of long walks in our family-friendly neighborhood by the beach, visiting the dog park, and Nico loves to stand guard on the balcony overlooking the alley when we're hanging out at home. I welcome low-maintenance pets that are housebroken and up to date on their vaccines. Your pet will be treated as part of the family while they're visiting in my clean, pet-friendly home. About this sitter: I work in marketing full time but want to enjoy my weekend with more dog pals for Nico. I absolutely love being around dogs. If you need me to watch your dog during the work week, private message me and we can chat details. Why I love dog sitting I've always loved dogs (I'm a dog in the Chinese zodiac!) but have been with Nico for 9 years now. About my home We live in a bright and airy studio apartment with open space to play. I have a balcony, which is perfect for guarding the alley and is great for sunbathing. I live very close to LAX and can hear the planes. If your dog is reactive to outdoor sounds, this may not be the place for him or her.

Michelle was such a great sitter! Mac had a couple of pee-pee accidents and she handled them like a champ! Thank you Michelle for letting Mac stay with you, and for making him so comfortable with you!
Michelle was awesome! We needed her on a holiday, and she came to stay at our place with our handful of a husky. She brought her doggie and the two got along just fine. Our guy has some separation anxiety but he was a happy and healthy camper when we came home. We would definitely call Michelle again and plan to!

I'd like to know that your dog plays well with others, can follow basic commands, is up to date on shots, and of any special instructions like medicine, walking and feeding habits, etc. My dog gets along with 95% of the dogs he meets. This is why I require meet and greets with all new dogs prior to booking. I want to make sure the dogs get along and also get a good vibe from the owner and chat about your dog's stay.
A typical day
My neighborhood is very dog friendly! There's a lovely path that goes half a mile to the beach and we often walk down to the sand and walk an additional 2 miles and back. Time I'll spend with your dog It's important to me that your dog feels loved and has a buddy at all times during his or her stay, especially because he or she is missing you! On the weekends, I'm never gone for more than 4 hours at a time.
