Hello and thank you for visiting my profile. I am a certified dog trainer with additional certifications in training shelter dogs, pet massage therapy, pet cpr and first aid. I have been providing pet care services since 2006, I worked for Hollywood Groomer Girl's A Pet Spa in Everett, WA in 2005 and I started helping to rescue cats and dogs in 2002. Some say I am a dog/cat whisperer, but I think it is more that I am able to read their body language. I love helping animals to feel comfortable, safe and have fun while in my care. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish, crustaceans, snakes, lizards, birds, tarantulas and scorpions. I take care of pets in Seattle, WA and in Washington, DC. I can't wait to meet you and your pets :)

I was referred to Mandolin from the concierge in my building and could not have been happier with her services. I felt comfortable letting her take care of my dog for walks every day... and then for a week long home stay while I was away. She is so knowledgeable about breeds, behaviors even food options. there were many options for me picking a pet sitter but what initially helped me decide to hire Mandy was her canine CPR certification. I would absolutely recommend Mandy to anyone looking for help taking care of their pet! My mind was at ease every day when I'd get a picture of my dog, and a brief note about her walk.
Mandolin is always available in a pinch and checks in regularly with messages, photos and videos. She is careful with our dog and attentive to some detailed instructions. She has been a great help.
Bucky's stay with Mandi and Joash was SUPER PAWSOME! We were a bit nervous since this was the first time Bucky had stayed with someone who was not a family member or friend for an extended period. We were *so* incredibly thrilled with Mandi and Josh following our test runs that we just knew the extended stay would be perfect...and it was! My huz and I were so appreciative of the daily video and photo updates. It really helped us stay connected with Bucky while we were on the other side of the country. We missed him terribly yet it was clear he was very well cared for, happy, and well exercised / entertained! I highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend Mandi and Josh. We will absolutely leverage their services in the future! Thanks for taking such terrific care of our baby!! xoxoxo
To keep it short and simple: Mandolin is fabulous! Theo came home happy, healthy and better behaved than when he was dropped off! She communicated with us throughout Theo's stay with her and sent us pictures daily. We loved getting updates from her. She was incredibly flexible and easy to work with, especially when our travel plans were somewhat complicated, she effectively kept not only me and my boyfriend updated, but our family members as well since they were the ones dropping off and picking up. We will absolutely send Theo to Mandi's again, she is the best!
