Hello! My husband & I live in the northwest suburbs of Chicago. We have a house with a nice fenced-in backyard in the Village area of Barrington. PLEASE NOTE: I *do* work approximately 5-10 minutes away (depending on trains crossing!) in Barrington Monday - Thursdays. MOST days I can swing home mid-day to let dogs out in the backyard for a potty break. I do not work Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. **A NOTE ON ACCEPTABLE DOGS: While I welcome all breeds, I cannot accept dogs that have had past aggression issues or are not socialized with other dogs. I do not accept unaltered male dogs. Unaltered females will be accepted on a case-by-case basis; however, if your dog is in heat or goes into heat while with me, there will be a surcharge. I am also not able to accommodate puppies due to my work schedule. We have 1 friendly Labrador, 2 cats in our house, and 2 gerbils. We do not have children. I am canine (& feline) CPR & first aid certified through PetTech and am able to give both oral and injected medications. I administer Adequan (injection) to my dog on a monthly basis and I also have experience administering insulin for diabetic dogs. I also give my own dog oral supplements daily, so I am proficient at oral medication. I am able to take your dog(s) on leash walks, to Lakewood Dog Exercise Area (with your permission only), and I am also able to run with your dog(s) up to about 4 miles (again, with your permission). Of course we also have our fenced-in yard for playing. I take a maximum of 2 family's dog(s) at one time so your dog(s) will get lots of attention without being too overwhelmed. As noted above, I ask that your dog be friendly with my own. The cats are able to be separated if necessary. Thank you!
